Symbol, 3 versions!

Since I saw this design on Nina's blog loved it! This is a biscornu designed by Barbi for embroidery threads Nina.

The first thing I show in the photos has been the last thing I embroidered with the thread that came with the kit.

The thread color I love in soft pink tones. I finished installing the biscornu with a pale pink ribbon.

I have also placed Mill Hill beads in iridescent pink.

Finally I show my other two versions of this design, which I made in another color of yarn and linen, also modified the biscornu shape.

These two edges and mounted first and were made to give to Susan and Elizabeth and I could personally deliver them on my last trip to Zaragoza and really liked them and for me that was the most important!

biscornús I used for both wire and beads degraded Atalia Mill Hill.

As you can see I still have small projects, but I am thrilled to do and more important that I quietly and without hurry or rush.

A Special Saturday ...

With great enthusiasm and satisfaction I show you today the result of the exchange I organized with the support of the friends of Miss Zelania, who with enthusiasm, dedication and love were a precious and wonderful ornaments in mind the tastes of the person who by chance touched them.

In the first photo, you can see all the decorations together, as shown in the afternoon so enjoyable that we enjoy - Teresa, Carmen, Julia , Susana , Isabel and I, " in hand by giving each of them and seeing the faces of joy and surprise!

Continuing with my story, the person who hit me was Carmen who embroidered design for Bird in Hand Blackbird Designs with thread Terra Cotta gradient of Les Fils du Rhin and subsequently mounted in a box which I lined with two different fabrics and I placed a tape to play. I really enjoyed from the beginning to the end of the realization of this ornament and the best thing is that Carmen really enjoyed and for me that is most important!

I received this beautiful embroidery done by Isabel, who I loved very much, very, very beautiful embroidered silks Vicky Clayton. Mounted in a beautiful wood. Thanks Isabel! full guessed my taste!

Some Organization, Part 2

Last year I talked a bit about the organization of my WIP's (Work in progress) here, and this time we are starting a new year and we do many purposes with the desire to meet, I show how I have organized my tapes and trimmings ...

not have too many, but enough to think the best way to keep them neat and easy to access when needed.

In this picture I have tapes and mostly pastel trimmings and some French films that I love, which I have placed pieces of cardboard that I can see them quickly, and optimize space.

In this other case I have placed red ribbons of color, especially gold and silver, which are of different material and not all can be put on pieces of cardboard.

I have two boxes already packed and I'm looking for third for here no longer fit me anymore! Here

probably within a few years I will have accumulated more ribbons of right now I show (or not), but now is the best method I found to keep them all organized. Surely there are a thousand ways on how to order this material, I would like to know how you do you?? believe therefore that all ideas are welcomed and are applied depending circumstances each individual and their needs.

I hope my post today I have helped a bit, if you were thinking of a way to keep this kind of material that becomes essential when do crafts, whether embroidery, patchwork, decoupage and more.

A summary of 2010!

Although this year has been very hard and sad for me, I could get up and look with optimism to what the future holds for me, because I love and want to think that 2011 will be much better and if things come afrontaré not so good with the strength and faith as I did in 2010 has already gone ...

As always my work have been an incentive, a shelter and although I have few things I'm very proud and pleased with the summary that I present below:

'm excited about new projects, large and small, it is also my desire to complete the assembly of several embroidery that I did last year.
